Earth Blossom: Ali Kaeini + Eleanor Mahin Thorp
Co-Curation & Exhibition Design
To facilitate this exhibition, I worked closely with contemporary artists’ Ali Kaeini and Eleanor Mahin Thorp. Our ongoing focus was to place the works in a way that bridged Ali’s works on wire and Eleanor’s paneled drawings.
Their work stems from Persian art history and iconography of Iran, where my father came from. This show brought us closer together and offered ongoing conversations I hope to keep alive for years to come.
This exhibition was on view from May 5 - June 18, 2023.
